Data in the Cloud

Data availability from wherever you are, whenever you want, and with any kind of mobile device and via web browser. All sensors simply work as Plug-N-Sense. Once you have powered your LoggerDaisy it starts sending collected data directly to the Cloud and you can see your data immediately.

LoggerDaisy infrasturcture backed by only fully-managed NoSQL database-as-a-service called IBM Cloudant. Cloudant’s horizontal scaling architecture can handle millions of users and terabytes of data to grow seamlessly alongside your business. Users are connected to the closest copy of the data, which reduces data access latency caused by cloud network overhead.

Keeping data safe

Managed users access, authentication, and encryption are essential to protecting data regardless of where it’s stored; this is especially true when moving data outside the confines of the corporate data center. Reporting features for compliance are also necessary.

Redundancy of your data

Having data stored at different geographical locations for redundancy just makes good sense, even if that means a hybrid approach where data is stored in the data center and backed up in the cloud.

Disaster recovery

Essential in case of natural, machine, or human-driven events. Enterprises can adjust these features based on their tolerance for downtime and data loss. If that tolerance is close to zero – for, say, LoggerDaisy’s clients can recover and save all their essential raw and analytics data.
